autumn leaves

I love redecorating jars — and as the holidays draw near, there are always jars full of goodies around. There’s nothing better than reusing a pretty glass jar once the treat is gone! I thought this jar looked rather pumpkin-shaped, so I chose a harvest theme. I love how it turned out! A functional piece of autumn/Thanksgiving decor. All I need now is a bag of caramels.

What do you do with the jars and packaging that start to pile up during the holidays?

recipe: all products stampin' up! unless otherwise noted. stamps: autumn 2009 tags (pti); patterned paper: autumn meadows; ink: really rust; fibers: chocolate chip striped grosgrain + jute button twine (pti); tools: 1/16" Circle punch + 1-3/4" Circle punch; jar

Okay so I am just LOVING the shape of this jar! Why don’t you bring it by my house and we’ll make some homemade jam to fill it with?
