Oh my word, have you been following Lawn Fawn’s September release week? Those girls…. they never cease to amaze me with what they come up with! For my part, I went minimalist with my Joy to the Woods card and “Peppermint Mocha holiday” for my Love You a Latte/Stitched Rectangles card.
Inspired by the awesome Debby Hughes, I used a small, 4-Bar size for all of my cards in this release. I love this size! Combine a 4-Bar card with Lawn Fawn’s smaller images, and you can easily create adorable scenes with little effort. You can’t really tell from the pictures, but the “mustache face sleeve” is popped up over the coffee cup for the tiniest bit of dimension.
Speaking of tiny details, I die cut windows in the Joy to the Woods card using the set’s coordinating dies, and put the Snow Day patterned paper behind the windows to create the ornaments. The bows are die cut and put on top of the card for a bit of extra dimension that is really only noticeable when you’re holding the card. Still counts as a one-layer card, right?
I’ll be back later this week with some more fun Lawn Fawn 4-Bar cards!
