Lawn Fawn: March 2014

Hi everyone! Just a quick look at my projects for this month’s Lawn Fawn release. Have you been following along with Inspiration Week on the LF blog? Oh my word! My fellow DT members are so talented, they leave me speechless. I can’t believe I’m part of such a creative group!

(“I’m not worthy!” she says, in her best Wayne’s World impression)

Anyway, here’s a round-up of the designs I created to showcase this month’s release. Enjoy! The first card was my contribution to our Starry Backdrops showcase. I just love putting Glossy Accents on tiny images, like I did with the stars on the moon piece. Just a hint of shine can make a huge difference to the overall effect, don’t you think?

I just adore watercolored tags, don’t you? The cupcake was inked using my Calypso Coral and Pool Party Stampin’ Write markers, and then the color was pulled into the center using a blender pen to create the watercolored look.

More fun with inlaid die cuts! The #awesome dies are fabulous for this technique!

This last card came about entirely by accident. I had watercolored both the background and the boat… and then suddenly the boat was a pirate ship sailing through the stars. No… I don’t watch too much Once Upon a Time….

Have a wonderful rest of the week!
