Seasons Giving Blog Hop 2013

Seasons Giving Logo

Thank you all so much for joining us for the Seasons Giving Blog Hop this year! It’s been a whirlwind of a year, hasn’t it? Definitely filled with a lot of crafting and excitement. I haven’t posted as frequently as I would have liked this year, but we do the best we can, right? Even though I wasn’t able to share everything I created here, I was creating… always a win in my book! So, to celebrate the small victories, here are a few projects that I particularly liked creating this year… and how I hope to carry on what I learned from each project.

Joy Card

This elephant card was my favorite project from the whole year, and one that I felt really captured the style of cards that I love. Clean. Modern. Trendy.

For You Puppy Card

This puppy card was one that I did when I was really into watercoloring this summer. I love how the shading on the puppy turned out, and I would like to combine more watercolored images and backgrounds with clean lines. I learned this year that Copics aren’t my thing. I can do them, but I’m too critical of my results and never like how it turns out. But, oh, do I love watercolors.

This scrapbook page was the one layout I did this year that felt truly unique to me. This was shortly before I decided I was burned out on scrapbooking and refocused my efforts on cardmaking. I love the multi-print background and summery colors.

Hello Circle Card

Finally, I love the combination of colors on this Hello card and the fun shape. More shapes, more color in 2014!

Anyway, I hope you had a wonderful holiday and that 2014 brings you happiness and love. To get things off on the right foot, how about a little giveaway! Leave a comment here by Wednesday, January 8th at 11:59 pm MT for a chance at a box of surprises. I’ll pick the winner by end of day Saturday, January 11th, and post her name here. Unfortunately, I cannot ship outside the US at this time, so US peeps only for this particular giveaway.

Remember: each stop on this blog hop will offer you a chance to win some goodies. Hooray! Give the girls and companies in the Hop list some love. {grin} There are a lot of familiar names participating and a lot of fantastic new talents that you’ll love adding to your must-read blogs in 2014.

If I had to pick only one of your creations, I think I would choose the doggie card – it’s so CAS but has the touch of bling. Love it! And thanks so much for participating in the huge blog giveaway!

Thanx for sharing your cute projects – i love your little hello card and i can totally relate to the Copics, I too found out they are not my thing – well, maybe if I gave them a little more time, but I am most comfortable with what comes naturally! Happy New Year!
