    It’s here! It’s here! Lawn Fawn’s Dewey Decimal is here! Oh, I can’t tell you how much I love this collection. It makes this librarian’s heart go pitter-patter. I went a little overboard with my projects for this inspiration week. But I told myself “no library themed projects”. I wanted to make something that would be applicable to more than just… well… me and my life. Something to inspire you guys, right?

    I’ve gotten a couple of questions on this, so let me post it here:
    Stampin’ Up! colors that coordinate with Dewey Decimal are Pool Party, Ridinghood Red, Island Indigo, and More Mustard. Hope that helps! I love coordinating my SU collection with Lawn Fawn. {Grins}

    Now, on to the layouts!

    A Part of History

    For my travel layout, I created mock file folders for my “history” files as a backdrop for a layout about exploring the Freedom Trail in Boston. This collection was perfect for this: it’s full of classic, structured patterns that create a wonderful timeless feel…and fun, trendy colors for a modern twist!

    Next up — an everyday, guy layout. Honestly, my fave part of this layout is the sideways, shrinking banner border. I had a lot of fun with that! Here, I combined Dewey Decimal with papers from the August Studio Calico kit. Oh my heart! And the library-inspired Check This Out stamp set really set the mood for this layout!
