• About

My name is Kim, and I live in Midvale, Utah, which is sort of part of Salt Lake City. Everything in the valley just kind of blurs together, you know? Utah is simply stunning, and I love hiking and camping in both the southern red rocks and the northern Wasatch front. Not so much with the skiing though. I’m a summer-girl through and through!

I live in a just-the-right-size townhouse with my boyfriend, Chris. We bought it in 2007, and immediately started remodeling. Stainless steel railings, soft gray walls, French doors. It’s going to be gorgeous when it’s done. We’re making serious progress.

And yeah, I work. I recently changed jobs, which is going to mean lots of travel opportunities, which will hopefully translate into some fun projects for you! On this blog, we’ll deal mostly with cardmaking, scrapbooking, knitting, sewing, and cooking.

Along with all the things I make, I’ll also be posting reviews for books that I read and love. Now, I won’t post any reviews here for books that I give under four stars on GoodReads–I’m going to only post the best of the best on my blog. However, if you pop over to GoodReads, you can read all of my reviews and check out the ratings, as well as see what I’m currently reading. I’ve been a bit sporadic in posting, but I’m trying to do better.

Finally, because it’s got to be said, none of the opinions expressed here on my blog reflect the opinions of anywhere I work, have worked, or will work. I hope you enjoy taking a look at my blog, and please leave a comment or two. I love getting feedback!

Thanks so much for stopping by,
    Kim

Hi Kim, I couldn’t find any place else to comment on your mini album or self portrait LO. Hope this is OK.
I love the wire on your mini album. I have tried it a few times and love the energy it gives to a page. I like your LO. We are often so busy doing LOs of all our family we forget ourselves. I have tried a few and although they are a challenge, I think they are important.
Thanks for sharing your work! :)
